 This project explores where we have caused destruction by manipulating an organic space, often with the use of nature itself, to create an idyllic version of what once was. Human’s relationship to nature has become a parasitic one, especially in the city of Baltimore, and these images show where each issue lies. Subject to either neglect or manicuring of green spaces (and not much in between), we are given the illusion of a utopian landscape. What truly lies in the city’s soil is years of misuse and contamination, all blind to the public eye.
